The first of course is the building of a web site. Creating our own personal web sites gives us the beginning experience we would need to be able to create a web site with our future students. You learn how to create new pages, insert text or images and create links. It has become a common practice for teachers with available resources and knowledge to use web sites to share information about their classroom with students and parents and with the public. Web sites can provide classroom related activities for students to try at home and keep parents updated on the happenings of the classroom. Creating web sites is also an excellent way to display students work. It gives students exposure to an alternate way of presentation instead of the traditional presentation styles. Building my own web site has given me the confidence to consider taking on such an endeavor in my own class in the future.</B></div> <div> <B> The second main pedagogical opportunity of this assignment is familiarizing one's self with the Science curriculum and planning appropriate lessons to complement the curriculum.
